Common Questions
What is neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, medication-free training method that helps the brain learn healthier patterns by giving it real-time feedback on its own activity. At Deep Brain Training, every protocol is personalized using qEEG brain mapping.
What is qEEG brain mapping?
Quantitative EEG (qEEG) brain mapping measures electrical activity across the brain to identify regions and networks that are over- or under-active. The map then guides a custom neurofeedback protocol designed for the individual.
What conditions can neurofeedback help with?
Neurofeedback is used to support focus and ADHD, anxiety, sleep, mood, trauma responses, and recovery after concussion or head impacts. It is also used by elite athletes for reaction time, recovery, and resilience.
Is neurofeedback safe? Are there side effects?
Neurofeedback is non-invasive and does not involve medication. Most clients tolerate it well. Any temporary effects are reviewed in detail during the discovery call and at every session.
